Long-jump

At Jacob's last track meet, his coach wanted him to try out the long-jump. The eigth graders went first and I was surprised at how far they could jump. Each jumper went twice. When it was Jacob's turn, his first jump was his best but someone walked in front of the camera at the same time I took the picture so I had to wait for his second jump. The second one did not go as well as the first one and he actually scratched his second jump. So you get to see the wind up but not the great finish.

I'm not really sure how he scratched the jump. He had a great time competing and I loved being there to watch him.
